Nowadays there is a cut-throat competition between the companies making Bournevita, Complan, Horlicks etc.on the television and media to make up for the deficiency in children due to inadequate food.These companies also claim to increase the height of children ...
In some advertisements Footpad (height increase device) companies also claim to adopt a scientific method of wearing footpads, such as acupressure, to increase height...
Are the claims of increasing(#enhancing, #gaining) the height of such enticing advertisements really true ..?
Negligibe or not at all.... Genetic factors are responsible for a person's physical height, A nutritious as well as a balanced diet can make minor difference. but the key role is played by inherited genes. These genes produce a secretion of human growth hormones after expression. Once the height is determined by it,but there is no scope for an efficient increase in height and no method usefully help to it...
